Adding a puppy to the family is a big decision to be made carefully, not impulsively. Selecting a responsible breeder, who conducts health testing and screens you to make sure you are a good fit for one of our special puppies, is crucial. You are, after all, about to add the newest member of your family to your home we insist on meeting all our potential customers before handing over your new addition.
Distinctive Doodles is more than just a dog breeders, we are a loving family and with two children aged 8 and 9 who started breeding by chance in 2011 after buying Dolly as a pet. Since then this has become a massive part of our lives and our passion to breed and we strive to provide only the highest quality 100% Australian Labradoodle puppies.
We have been providing these amazing puppies to families all over the country and even worldwide, our puppies are raised in our home in a family environment with plenty of interactivity with our children. We welcome any new families to come and meet us and our amazing dogs on request before purchasing one so that we can all get a feel for each other
We take the health of our dogs extremely importantly, holding all the correct licenses and being over the top (if you can be) with all health checks etc. All the relevant information can be found on the other pages of our site. If you have any questions though, as always just get in touch.

Our story...
Hi, I’d like to introduce myself, I’m Rachel, the founder and owner of Distinctive Doodles in harrogate North Yorkshire.
We are based in the stunning surroundings of the Yorkshire Dales, (pateley bridge) classified an erea of outstanding natural beuty renowned for its gorgeous countryside, beautiful walks and outstanding nature. This is an idyllic setting for both us as a family and all our animals and we are extremely grateful to own our surrounding land and extensive woodland we're we walk and socialise all our beautiful doggies .
We first started our journey into breeding Australian Labradoodles over ten years ago when we adopted our first gorgeous girl Dolly and instantly fell in love with their personalities and unique features. We decided after having Dolly as our own family pet that she would be the most beautiful mum so subsequently bred her with Jaque another stunning boy from Doodle Hall based in Essex, who between them gave us our first litter back in 2012.
We have since become and are extremely proud to say one of Yorkshires most established, respected licensed breeders. Our reputation and history is highlighted in our many fabulous reviews on Facebook and other relative sites. The constant photos and updates we receive from past customers makes us beam with pride. We have completed so many families supplying our pups to their forever, happy homes which makes our work and love of the breed so fulfilling and have without a doubt helped to populise the wonderful ald breed.
Our girls and boys live within our loving day to day family home and enjoy the freedom of our gorgeous surroundings. Our two daughters Poppy and scarlet are extremely hands on with all our dogs and litters and have a huge love for all animals. The girls also have a massive passion for their horses who live on our many acres of land and love the freedom that this gives as do our dogs. I have may years of experience not just with dogs but all types of animals i also owned and run one of North Yorkshires premier boarding kennels and catteries for 15 years (pooch Palace and cat kingdom) i have now closed these businesses to concentrate on my breeding. I am trained as a dog first aider and also a dog groomer so I do keep myself very busy in a nutshell I have worked with animals all of my adult life and have a wealth of experience . We have started many other breeders on their journey too over the years up and down the country and also In Europe.
We put our heart and soul into our love of breeding this stunning breed and will continue to do so whilst we are providing families with such joy and happiness.
